If you’re looking to monitor your home’s energy usage in real-time, the Brultech GreenEye Monitor (GEM) is an excellent choice. With support for multiple current transformers (CTs) and integration with Home Assistant, you can track your energy consumption and optimize your power usage efficiently. I opted to purchase only the Brultech GEM without the DashBox, as I am utilizing Home Assistant as my primary data dashboard. The GEM provides highly accurate and sensitive measurements, capable of detecting power usage down to the milliwatt (mW) level. It transmits data to Home Assistant every 30 seconds (configurable). For visualization and historical analysis, InfluxDB and Grafana are integrated with Home Assistant to generate detailed energy consumption graphs. This also allows longer history reports and reduced storage requirements.
